The Alberta Japanese Teachers’ Association (AJTA) is a Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Alberta Teachers Association’s, Second Language Intercultural Association (SLIC). Originally formed in 1995, the Alberta Japanese Teachers Association has provided Alberta teachers of Japanese the opportunity to professionally meet, network and develop opportunities for professional development.
